Top Desserts

If you know me you know that I LOVE sweets! The first time I ever tired keto completely cutting out the sweets was HARD! The sugar detox made me feel like I was going to die! The results were so worth it but I remembered the initial pains and that alone kept me from getting back on track for years after I backslid. This time I around I knew I needed a plan that would measure up to my needs! I was inspired when I found a local Keto store that sells baked goods!! This keto store changed the keto game for me!

Now that I can now have cookies, cakes, cupcakes and so much more, of course In moderation my keto journey is thriving and my waist is still shrinking! This round has been so much more successful in longevity because I didn’t have to completely omit my sweets. The crazy thing is there are many evenings that I’m satisfied and I don’t even bother with dessert but for all of these post-dinner cravings, I’m going to share my top 5 desserts with you that will measure up to your highest expectations guaranteed!

A root beer float! Breyer’s makes a low carb ice cream as does rebel ice cream most any low carb ice cream paired with diet root beer will only cost you around 4 carbs for dessert!  This is one of my favorite desserts because its an all time classic, while still being super delicious!

Strawberry shortcake. Let me start off with these being made from scratch low carb shortcake biscuit topped with strawberries and a sugar-free glaze. I have to have mine with a scoop of ice cream but you can have cool whip or even homemade whipped cream.

Carrot cake, remember that bakery I mentioned. Well, they have designed a cake mix that is ready to bake after you add in your ingredients. I have tried a ton of different ones and this carrot cake is the best keto carrot cake you’ll have. The cream cheese frosting brings these in at an amazing 1.5 carb per cupcake!!

For 5 net carbs per slice, you can indulge yourself in a keto-friendly lemon meringue pie. This was made completely from scratch and the hardest part was waiting the 3 hours for it to cool before eating.

Last but definitely not least is the newest popsicle I’ve found which is by keto pint! Three amazing things about this is the chocolate outside of the sea salt popsicle is to die for! They are sold at Costco which is such a great deal and lastly, they will ONLY cost you 2 carbs!! The fact that I can have chocolate, and have my sea salt caramel obsession met all for just 2 carbs makes this a genuine favorite for me!

So I hope this gives you hope that you can have your keto cake and eat it too while living a keto lifestyle. Share with me one of your favorite desserts keto or not.
